Perhaps i omitted an essential and relevant aspect being the financial cost to all concerned for the last few decades, which must be many many billions. It is not utopian to state this could, should, be diverted for the next decade into resettling (humanely, indeed in an exemplary fashion) non-Israeli citizens elsewhere gradually as they become ready.

And having now googled a little The Assyrian people and state (referred to in the audio) - as i say my friend from years ago defined himself still in the 80s as 'Assyrian' and we would often all with REVERENTIAL mirth refer to Peter's most exotic lineage. "wow that's rather groovy.... can i be one too!?" :-) It was certainly something that set him positively aside. But any Assyrian 'state' ceased to exist many hundreds of years ago. Maybe not the best example as the rise of that tribe was thousands of years ago, and 'fall' a couple of thousand years ago. Even if then there were majority ethnic (Assyrian) regions until maybe 500 years ago.

I live 100% off grid (5 years) with extremely limited charging facilities and thus rarely have time to write nicely and coherently.

The leading take aways are

1. The exact definition may be debatable of ' halfbreed' - i am allowed to use such a nasty sounding word as my own beloved daughter is one! As is my most cherished wonderful friend a half Pakistani half German woman who i call 'mong'. Indeed mongrelisation a rather lovely word.

'LINEAGES' to be all Brett Weinstein about it - and in the real world there is a culturally constructed 'division' sometimes around nation, sometimes 'ethnicity' sometimes its more religion... but all this lot CROSS BREEDING..is the way forward; and i have encountered commentary that indeed the mongrel - half of one nation half another or half of one 'culture' half another, is nowadays, THE SECTION OF SOCIETY THAT IS NOW MOST NUMEROUS, AND INCREASING IN PROPORTION.

As i say the halfbreed is the future.... i knew well a half Serb half Croat woman who lived (as kindof refugee) with a friend and I in 1992 and the tragedy in her own street one people against the other was exemplified in her. Absurd. Had a few more Croats and Serbs done what her mum and dad had done in the 70s, there may have been rather less fatal argy bargy in that tragic region.

No pundit reminds the world that, yes, mongrelisation, or mixed race or culture, or whatever you want to call shaggin' outside your own 'group' = safety!

2. 'Nuance' when it comes to debate or discussion of any specific lineage maybe having 'colonised' sectors such as banking or even media, however, why can NOBODY ever at least try to redress this as ONLY rhetoric matters (after the ratio of effective dynamite distribution devices) and by far the greatest contribution to the project of spreading via culture - from cinema to song, the notion of UNIVERSAL HUMAN RIGHTS, or being nice to the underdog! has been created the last 100 years by a very 'disproportionate' number of 'Jewish' lineage people in the English speaking world. From Kafka to The only songwriter to get a Nobel Bobby Zimmerman. And thousands in between. My own personal fave Babs... meant it.

If i were of Jewish lineage and felt as Brett now even says he sometimes does, at risk, (and worried for his kids) maybe that one fact i would wish endlessly spun back into the ignorant anti Jewish rhetoric all and everywhere. (" your mate's wrongly in gaol by the hand of a cruel ruthless state that provided him a lawyer on legal aid who was drunk most days ... screwed up his defence..?... well listen to Bob's Hurricane....... turned us on to how justice must be ideally for everyone...and never trust the easy mainstream narrative ..." ... ).

3. They, or even 'we' (the universal human rights brigade) LOST.

I know what it is to LOSE - by far the most important thing of all in life, my own daughter AND my ONLY 'identity' - as always fully involved parent. She was lost 16 years ago. And in those years i ONLY focus still on repair and bridging back to normality. But it is impossible. And only when 5ish years ago (the pandemic hadnt brought her 'back') i really did internalise that yes i had lost -and lost even shared memory! she wont even recall our great ten years fullest life together, only then did i internally truly begin to relax and even for the first time in a decade, laugh...and i lost just as much as ANY Palestinian. Everything. Yes even my own private 'statehood'. I was a very independent and successful lone parent with a kid doing so well in all.... LOST.

Accepting losing any 'war' i think may just be the most important thing any of us can ever do. Universally.

And as for the thorny issue of immigration, even if this statement may be a little in tension with item 1 above, as a lifelong 'open borders' person especially due my existence 20 years as pilot where all of Europe and some other countries were my home - home wherever you happened to be. And a child who only exists due immigration (after i was in Eastern Europe working FOR the EU) . Anyone in UK USA and even now various EU countries who thinks immigration can continue as it has been the last decade or so is nuts. Specifically at the level of the political power. Which does define our existence. Avowedly Pro immigration parties or policies in Uk are only ever going to get 20% at best of the vote. Even the labour party clearly are distancing themselves from previous more pro immigration policies. It's no longer really for debate. There is no power in it. Being seen to be pro mass immigration is an electoral liability. And even European countries have woken up to this matter and are gradually adjusting to that new reality. The people spoke even if in horrid language or confused politicking. But we all know the majorities largely said that's enough for now at least.

(i 'lost'... i can accept that too, and everything in my adult life has only been about kids and also cross 'border' life ..)

(please not as per my audio i know the exact definition of 'genocide' - eg the top scholar of it recently stated both Croatia (first) then Serbia - perhaps as retribution perhaps they would have anyway, committed 'genocide' in the 90s, and I think we are now awry applying it to all but the Holocaust - its almost just becoming another hype word, deflecting from the real generation long consequences, to millions around the world caught up in violent actions where civilians lives are used as chess pieces)

i think it matters sometimes to see live camera action up close of these endless tragedies - the look in the eyes of the young man about to be needlessly brutally executed (even if i have never even watched a horror film). It is deeply affecting. This isn't a computer game.
