 Which in fact is the worst book in history - even worse than Tolle tarting fake 'caring' and fake living in some notional Now..

Blaming EVERYTHING on a convenient little shift in the meedia and  all that (when it was merely the 'like' button, and 'block' except all they did was build upon thirty tears of so called 'Reality' TV  - ive never seen as any sane person knows it never could be and will always be warped, crossbreeding with angsty Eastenders type of hatecrime tv  - meaning tv without any quiet contemplation and ponderous profounding around, as one, two...saw in the wonderful 1975

so interesting in that if the camera lingers, and keeps lingering as they can't afford all the zooming around and in and out, and not much happens one sees so much more. and even sees people, real humans, in the gaps in the story...

Anyway... the gap, was there even late 00s in that one had to tire one's kid or kids out by doing healthy things and its extraordinary how fast they forget that in one household the tv is on in the corner all day long which was the reality of modern day  post Soviet spaces... all of them..and Far Eastern, and the other there is no tv.. except a weekly goodfilm on the DVD ....

Haidt of course gave the dumbed down speak-firstists, who can't think of what was beforetoo, a whipping horse..

Already especially in the Anglosphere it was all Al Gorey..

In fact what is interesting is what NOT. One hasn't heard of European  regions baying for no more pocketphone time, as generally they managed to keep it all rather more in balance...

Just as any actual traveller noting down differences, knew that sweeties were about 3x  relatively more expensive or even 4x throughout Europe from the 80s, nineties i bet still are ... so the kids didnt have them very often at all, in fact in several decades meandering those saner lands, i never heard any European parent or aunty say " off to the shops to get sweeties for the kids.." 

 And even the stupid BBC had a copy in their library of Henry's '85

 which categorically stated sugar is the one 'poison' that changes the  human biome  in kindof a fairly permanentish way..

I know as i have the copy from their library, some bookseller thief of Hay managed to steal....

So maybe they have an excuse, even if it was obvious via plenty of other primary sources, too
