(i actually bought for twenty quid  Deecember 2022 however... when the ultimate gibber/illusionista ripped me off for the bus fayre - rather spending it on her fine son's £7 comic with a promise of immediate refiund - her being THE 'spiritual' Queen of Hay-on-Wye.... the greatest ever example of how every single one a conperson....

i didn't mind  for me that I failed to honour my pledge, as my excuse was sublime and perfect and great future material...... i do mind that he the impoverished Indian photographer who took this great art picture...didnt get his quid after the local so called 'charity' have taken their ferkin greedy   nineteen to pay for their admin and fancy equipment

Anyway..99% of Rough Guide material perfect...my hobby to check... flaneur around every backest ally and see what they may have missed...

 and they really managed to get it right - ' if you are a reasonably humble meanderer just needing a 'real' place to stop and read a book over a coffee we recommend x or y...' 'back in the day' when there was just love, for THE INFORMATION being accurate.. true humanity
