(all i really know is bring back Monty Python - all the Europeans did see it, i know as i ask them,  and it is perfect shared lexicon, for such splendid hilarious absurdist stuff in the news - and you never hear a European performatively saying i never listen to it as one started to hear in the Britolins two decades ago -   i guess they know its a necessity, simple citizenly/parental duty, to stay a bity informed...  but when one of those technogarchs  announce "we are going to make it against the rules to emotionally abuse one of our machines"   you know that even Monty would scratch his scrotum with an ashramic smiley look on his dumb face, trying to figure how one got to here?  ... forgetting the answer they answered - that we must laugh at EVERYthing in ourselves.... even things like how my once sane schoolbuddy  spent his whole last twenty years perfroming  avidly that he's no Thatcherite whist living in his million quids worth of thatched property-owning-Thatchies and all he can think of is passing on inherited wealth to his lass he even calls "bimbo"  whilst sharing stories of how our contemporaries who did inherit dosh..[not me never a bean thank god!] .. had a far worse life and often a shorter one too... all an absurdist theme park hall of mirrors, and no good songs any more... the two matters are not unrelated.... as you can only write good songs about events dear girl events... especially as they are in a perfect word picture without any need to TELL peeps what to think....  i mean even The Bard wouldnt have dreamed up  that Simple...Twist of Fate... a better word picture than his wet lettuce attempt! )
