Brockocide July 2020 (in breeding season)

a first scatteration of bits of video and photos from 2020.

Unlike the rest of the world i was busy actually caring, what on earth was going on in the hills alongside my daily 10km hillwalk. (obviously a crime as its against wildlife countryside act even to disturb nature when its breeding or rearing the result, and many uncommon birds and mammals lived in this high valley - Sheepwalk West herfs)

This all a true tragic crime committed by the kind of people - you find a few of them in any small town where farmers markets and goody goody gatherations are advertised - all green, and very Extinction Rebellion once that became trendy -- the couple who owned these 40 hectacres indeed 'community' was there every other word, for the 5 or 6 years i knew them well...

I am sure they were waffling 'community' that summer even if all hiding behind the masks and signs saying 'community suspended' whist their henchmen were gassing and (JCB) burying alive the cubs of a huge badger COMMUNITY... on their land... i watched from afar helpless

(see later video of badger set holes filled up with rubble and wood so as to hide their crimes)

Now..... i understand the word 'justice' but i think i have to say i have changed my mind as to what it should mean, and as no one cares about simple 'right' and 'wrong' it all gets complicated...

i even have a covertly recorded talk with the owner a few months later the two of us sat atop the hill together where he admits there may have been ... some burrying alive, but wriggles of course - to me more an art work than evidence for any prosecution - whats the point no one really cares

One day i may have a better short essay, but even then - maybe august 2020 when the real sadness had abated within me, also a sadness suffered in total silence as justice means you gotta have at least ONE bloody ally on side - not to "watch your back" as she said because that is not realistic - merely to blot the blood of the wounds when they stab you in the back...if one word had ever gotten out that someone KNEW of these crimes never mind had made an extremely extensive arty photo video chronicle of it all...

So by a few months on i figured no one will help... (names will be named as some take huge shedloads of charity money for being openly goody goody and said they WOULD help me then ghosted ) so i started to share with artists "maybe i could encourage you to make an artwork as a form of justice for these beautiful animals buried alive to die a long miserable death....within a few months i photographed lovely wildflowers growing all around over the death pits...just like at Auschwitz

the utter people pleasing (and actual ILLness) waste of time i received in " wow sounds interesting, sounds deep and essential a project, i am a believer " from artists... who then ghost all future " hi do you have a minute yet to follow on our chat" emails or texts or whatever's

is a work of art in itself befitting a Turner

if all that imagery and fantasy were woven in too.... i could..

maybe i should

and am free now...

to do something, one day

loads more to add in. Many 'before' films, when i find them, of a gorgeous massive paradise 'sanctuary' badger set bothering no one several years
