Not "no matter what the weather" because in fact the serious person checks three or four days in advance, and knows what the weather is, and it is simply extraordinary that.....
Anyone else would write " bleedin eck what's the country come to ! a few inches of snow and they cannot even keep a fairly major minor arterial road open....so the bus can get through"
Me, hmmmm.... "splendid.... they all get a few days off being modern human, and silly-busy..."
