Never Vote Liberal Democrat ... but

i never, or rarely, give a video a title  ..i just leave it at the time and date only for my own sweet chronicles...

but this one needs one - today... this morning

... will have suplementary evidence soon of utter contempt and apathy by 5 or 6  libdems  in the herefordshire shrophire and brecon region...i have regularly exoerienced in person ...( them knowing me fairly well their Hereford office big suporter of my earlier legal work) and at times direct with London HQ.. i have liased with for THEIR benefit the last 12 months....

ref rivers and pollution one of the most high profile future vote  harvesting issues of the times! especially in Herefordshire andPowys ( including talks with them the last few weeks)

utter children.... every one...in fact children have better manners

this is not a one off but a continual pattern if the worst ever dysfunction they display over 3 or 4  years

but really good original me waffling on the UK USA and BELARUSS ...only country in aeurope to also have two party  system .

.about 4 or 5 weeks ago here in an audio...FAR better than Starkey

  I am...

But he - even if we ignore his weird love of the 'right'... admits he was wrong on PR BRAVO!!!!

as has ultra intellectual king, John Gray recently "we MUST modernise to PR.."

Though their arguments are ALWAYS TOO COMPLEX FOR THE AVERAGE UK DUMBED DOWN TELETUBBIE...LIKE MY BROWN FRIEND M***** ...ONCE GREAT BRAIN...NOW TAYLOR SWIFT OBSESSED TOXIC WOMBLE ...TO EVEN REMEMBER...

IT MUST BE SIMPLE

so ... lets have some thought how to split the vote PROPERLY..it is the ONLY way PR can be revisted... there is NO OTHER WAY

than strategic voting

And John Gray rather nervy depressive clearly doesnt get much outdoor walking for a lighter soulfulness...

But reasonable talk...on PR

FAR more important - the last few months especially, but off and on over 10 years i have loosely mentored and spoken with the thoughtful under 30s who state they are interested properly in the state of society - those who read good books, and who seem to have balanced thoughtful opinion on where we are... 3 i have very intensely mentored through their political interests over long periods...

And EVERY SINGLE one (no they arent party people, ranter space cadets, or tin foil hat) speaks of total distrust and enuii about our whole political class and system.
I would suggest the only way to change that is give THEM something new and symbolic to form behind - 'own'... if younger people could perhaps begin campaigns and focused homespun political action  and media, ONLY on the one thing that could make it new for their generation - THEM  somehow putting proportional representation back into play and then them making it work in the future. This i believe is the only way to reenergise civic interest within the next generation.

And there is only one way... by very very coordinated targeted strategic voting to split the vote at the next election. And being up front: ONLY so as to end up with some kind of coalition, if it worked, so that the lesser party (or ies) may shoehorn a return to a PR referendum in..

PR is not any magic key.
Politics is only the occasional few new policies being taken forward.
For example the current lot SPIN tenancy reform - "yes we listen! and are changing rules..." no fault evictions being didalowed,  the biggest sop ever - as only longer tenancies - as is norm in many EU countries and Scotland, make any real difference. (Many scandanavian style societies have lifetime tenancies and a far higher proportion of rented accommodation - something our APALLING media and political class fail to mention in appalling rhetoric..).

With PR more parties wedge in more policies - generally thats how it works.
A few new fairly substantial policies per term is...real life..
...thats all you get... gradual incremental changing policies

Housing
Environment etc..

From an actual Italian this afternoon "Did Beppe Grillo and his party do any real good in Italy?"
"He did start NEW approaches for the first time for decades... made people THINK about real politics again and how real ordinary people may have some new more beneficial policies... eg they brought in UBI..." ( universal basic income)
A more lively, more genuinely "you get punished next time [and may lose all power] " environment ,  that PR often leads to,  often kick starts new policies ...some may have real long term benefit.

As per my audio 3 or 4 weeks ago here...it is MODERN... UK obsessed with tech and the new... well 'MODERN' is the right word (as it was in EU matters, but our political class simply all lost it when it came to simple, easy, good wordings of things...worst rhetoric in history...lost europe..)
