The core purpose to share real life stories and especially silver linings - REAL ones, not cheesy confected pretense, on how to live a truly good life as the middle aged body starts to get a bit uppity, or down... and all sorts stab you in he back...
And even sadder when one says one has become "bulletproof" you get accused of being a narcissist.... thats UK.... fuckin swamp of lost children drowning in shit polluted bogs..( a word picture of what a mess verbally and intellectually EVERYONE is in..) .but helping some rethink.... via engaging prose and waffle...my several year pondered possible useful purpose.... (NOT an activist on 'causes'..)
Please note in the introduction THE issues are described. Especially that women over around 65 ish seems so so so much more at ease just making fun of ALL their 'issues' and frankly it is the death the boring obsessive (failed) approach everyone else in then UK bores me to death with in the UK for the last 5 - 10 years... and being so bored of our public and private 'conversation'... i have no one else top talk to so will waffle to myself...AL of it.
I have over the last 5 or so years sometimes found such GEAT spirits - the older women... but still too small a proportion.. full of REAL 'lifeforce' (the words 'sprit' 'spiritual' so coopted by the snake oil vendors of those worlds, i try just to use the term lifeforce.. -i.e. no bullshit, or self pity, BRIGHT EYED SMILEYS...in a land so many stooped and constantly only able to moan and gossip about..'health'...rather than live well...no matter what!!! and i have personal pains in there in my life that are WORLD RECORD..i would not change a second...nor waste a second suing anyone...ever)
and sometimes made quick interview style chronicles of those encounters. Soon i will share them.
But at heart it's all about the 'Black Swan' [Taleb's fabulous allegory]- meaning one can never ever know how one may actually psychologically respond to ANY change ... but ll clever terminology and then labelling everything....became THE problem... so you will not find any of that here, as I am ONLY interested in the nett effect... live well even on nothing and with physical impairment - find the philosophical REAL 'benefit' in all...
Because the fact that NO ONE ever seems to be able to any more, sure makes life very very boring... never mind causes their life to be less bouncy and good...
I am an (purely as hobby as deep down it became UK) economics 'expert'.. the trends in the UK in terms of 'healing' 'care' and all governement services...are NOT 'sustainable'..
And what do we have? even if there will be jolly good bourgeois masses secretly clapping - The ultimate Tom-Paul ...monetiser of OTHER people's creative talent... Richard Branson, we hear profits considerably from sort-of-'private' health care....subsidised by government.
THIS IS NOT A 'HEALTH' series..it is a LIFE series... all i see for years is ferkin misery... and STUCKNESS... fake 'play'.. fake 'community'.. and people don't live with best lifeforce as a result...as i have for 10+ years... its time to share some stories... but ideally also to find ne or two who may like to work with me developing an ongoing series or even some essay writing because the simple fact of the matter is it is only DURING events, changes... and that period after some 'terrible' event, when the great silver linings become embodied or arise within, viscerally... that the engaging words arise... this is a FUTURE project. As much as stories from the past few dare to share...and there is no such thing as 'oversharing' - meet the fabulous old bags i have, and managed to tease out their true side... which basically is, keeping anything back - even 1% of your back...is as bad for you as the standard full coyness...

i can speak European - meaning if i am with some not-first-language-English person i take care and slow down only using words they may know ...even if one with her "hiraeth" and "ascetic" .. well i don't know where she came from... magnificent but even the word ascetic has essentially two meanings. I am one - the NON regligious and NOT weirdo self pitying martyr, version.
But i also speak yank - meaning i am very aware of the historical social construct of certain American word usage and how the American political attitudes of the last 100 years affect word usage. generally an American will be able to understand me - I come from the purest 1950s and 60s 'social justice' tradition that gave us magnificent film like To Kill a Mockingbird, etc. am a classic humanist progressive-egalitarian, equalicist 'liberal'... Richard Lewontin - one of my very few true intellectual heroes..rightly attacked all absurd notional constructs of 'race'... the fuckwits of the last decade have perverted into something it is not...
I am not interested in 'attacking' the utter intellectual pipsqueaks of the so called new intellectual movement the IDW - possible exception of sometimes Eric Weinstein and Meghan Daum being useful communicants, what i find so incredible is how utterly useless they all are... subtly (and that is what is SETIOUS) ... they are so seductive but if one stands back and ponders what they are really sharing with you..such inadequate childish and FAILED rhetoric is all we ever hear from them.... and this they do need an attempt at intelligent constructive critique..
As a young man i wandered around Manhattan with friends - and late 80s wandering past Trump Towers everyone i knew - simple artsy thoughtful humble but intelligent women especially, we laughed at such a vulgar gaudy dump.. and in UK certainly one knew in the schoolyard... if there is a bully around....ignore him or her and sooner or later they shut up and crawl back under their stone.... in fact the way that UK media - the posh Oxbridge Eton end...have been utterly unable to bring that attitude into our public conversation is perhaps even more important in the nett madness.. that is nothing other than a bolshie bully has a soapbox...and he didnt have the nouse to DO much...
(Obama doing FAR more historical harm him so increasing heavy metal - especially within Central Europe, which has now so lethally destabilised europe.. and i took my lass to London the night he was elected specifically to see such a magnificent development - the coloured people of London in joy! sitting on a tube train and every paper open had the picture of a black man on he front... a wonderful historical moment to witness)
Me Trump is a fat old spiv, all speech should be free unless actual direct incitement to violence, and i would no wish any human even a bad cold - but the way the supposedly more mature intellects and democracies have pandered to the vulgar 'bully' is very much just as much a part of this backwards development.
