THE JOBS
It's all terribly simple: Call it the 'hinterland' boonies, or as i do the aside places, which coincidentally happen to be THE 'environment' - i.e. where nature still has a better chance, THE one and only LAW is that small scale farms and landholdings (both THE best pro environment ways of using land) depend on 'rural honour'. There isn't the spare cash to pay for expensive contractors. And often the economic model is a version of 'mutual benefit' - "you help cut up that fallen tree and next time you need some emergency hay for your nag you can bank on us". And if some more extensive proper job is necessarily underway efficiency and mutual advantage is such a central part of it all - and both are enhanced by keeping to ones WORD.
The endless not keeping to ones word which befell the hinterland especially as ex metropolitanism spread out, wastes huge amounts of time, causes angst friction (genuine hardship even if one exists on very marginal income).
My 'JOBS' will be written up - anonymously ... with maybe one exception (already in the public domain as serial mad crook) as reality of these lands and why until these matters are thought through there is no hope.
